Building on our "If Mother didn't tell you about Marmite, what else didn't she tell you" campaign, we created a tactical campaign around Halloween titled ‘Don’t be afraid of the Dark’ that shared all the unknown, interesting and downright scary stories (local and traditional) that come with halloween. The multidisciplinary campaign was made up of a short story book of 13 Dark Tales, an outdoor poster campaign, a wall mural- whose process was turned into an animated time-lapse to be shared on social media, a customised jar of marmite and 3 sculptures that paid homage to notorious horror movie characters in the shape of the iconic marmite jar . The posters showed the hands of these three characters offering the viewer their version of a marmite sandwich encouraging the viewer to try the original dark stuff spread.
